Hmm... Not familiar with that insert from that particular set but all Harvick stuff was priced BIG when he debuted in the #29 Goodwrench car after the passing of Dale Earnhardt (car went from #3 to #29 in the middle of the year). My guess is it's probably no longer worth $25 but hard to say exactly. I forget if 2001 was one of the years that Press Pass was the only company making NASCAR cards or not. Cool card to have but I'd guess $10 or less for it's value today. I don't even bother checking prices of racing cards I get out of pack unless it has an auto or memorabilia on the card. Seems the singles (even inserts) just aren't worth much. Many racing collectors (me included) would rather spend $$$ on die cast cars than cards.

I'm interested in racing cards---if you want to trade it let me know. Let me know what you like and I'll try to find something.

My fiance has that Harvick card in her collection. It one of his first insert cards after taking over the Goodwrench car following Dale's accident. The card is worth right at $12. Hope this helps!

I agree. The only cards most Racing collectors care about are the autos, memorabilia, and rookie cards. While that may be the case these days in most sports, racing is different due to the availability of diecasts. I just got into collecting racing when I met my fiance 3 years ago. I've built a nice diecast collection since then, but I can't get away from the cards... I grew up with baseball, football, and basketball cards, so it's just natural to love NASCAR cards as well. The thing is, most diecast collectors never tapped into the world of cards in other sports, so interest definitely is not as high. It's a shame. As far as the hits are concerned, I love busting open boxes of racing cards because there's a limited amount of drivers compared to guys in other pro sports. That makes the odds of pulling a hit of a big time star a lot easier. The odds of a Jr., Gordon, Stewart, etc... out of a Press Pass racing product is much greater than one of Pujols, LeBron, or Peyton in football products!

I haven't made the trip to Daytona just yet, but I've heard all about that place! Once I do go, I'll have to make sure I bring an extra bag just for the diecasts! lol I'm just getting pumped up for "Hallow-Dega" in a couple of weeks! I can't wait! As far as hits are concerned, I've been able to get some nice cards. Just got a couple of boxes with a Jr. patch, $150 Harvick auto, etc... I think Press Pass is coming along with their autos and memorabila cards. The 2009 cards and odds seem to be a whole lot better than in years past.
